Saint Joseph College Joins Tuition Rewards Saint Joseph College (West Hartford, CT), providing students with engaging courses of study and relevant career skills rooted in a tradition of academic excellence and community service, has become the 4th Connecticut member and 14th member of The Women's College Coalition to join the Tuition Rewards private college & university enrollment consortium.

SJC provides personal attention and academically-challenging programs that empower the 1,100 undergraduate students to sharpen leadership skills, explore intellectual interests, develop professional competencies in more than 30 areas of study and succeed professionally and personally while becoming caring, compassionate citizens who make a difference in society.

SJC's average class size is 15; the student-to-faculty ratio is 11:1, allowing for mentorship and personal attention. The faculty includes four Fulbright Scholars. Continuing to innovate, SJC now offers programs focused on women's entrepreneurship, social work with a Latino Community Practice certificate, autism spectrum disorders and a new school of pharmacy. Education and healthcare studies remain popular. All classes are taught by full faculty, not teaching assistants.

Located on a beautiful 84-acre campus one mile from West Hartford’s thriving downtown, Saint Joseph’s is the 66th Catholic college to join Tuition Rewards and 8th member college founded by the Sisters of Mercy, along with Georgian Count University, Gwynedd Mercy University, Mercyhurst College, MIsericordia University, Mount Aloysius College, Saint Xavier University and Salve Regina University.
