Cardinal Stritch University Joins Tuition Rewards

Dec. 31, 2008 - Cardinal Stritch University, the second-largest private university in the state of Wisconsin, today became the 24th college to join the SAGE Tuition Rewards program in 2008.

The main campus for the school’s 3,100 undergraduates and 3,800 graduate students is in suburban Milwaukee.

Cardinal Stritch was founded in 1937 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi and stresses the principles of caring community, compassion and peacemaking. There a 60 fields of study, with schools of business & management, education, liberal arts and nursing. The arts are important; the school is proud to have been named Wisconsin's first "All-Steinway School" by Steinway & Sons. The undergraduate population is 25% minority.

The Cardinal Stritch Wolves compete in the Chicagoland Athletic Conference and are a traditional power in men’s and women’s basketball.

Tuition Reward members now include 15 of the 20 members of the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges (WAICU) and 57 members of the National Catholic College Admissions Association (NCCAA).
