Hamline University Joins Tuition Rewards

Hamline University Joins Tuition RewardsHamline University (St. Paul, MN), which stresses social justice, civic responsibility, leadership and service, today became the 6th Minnesota college or university to join Tuition Rewards.

Ranked first in Minnesota among comprehensive master’s universities by U.S. News & World Report, Hamline enrolls 1,902 undergraduates from 30 states and 31 nations. Founded in 1854 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Hamline offers a choice of 37 majors and a median class size of 18; 94% of faculty members hold the highest degree in their field.

Freshman seminars include such topics as the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, C.S. Lewis, Darwin and the Galapagos Islands, genetically-modified food and reincarnation. Emphasizing practical applications of a theory-based liberal arts education, Hamline requires independent studies, internships and apprenticeships. Students participate in 70 clubs and organizations and 19 varsity sports.
