St. Thomas University Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

Focused on developing leadership skills in the classroom and beyond, St. Thomas traces its roots to the Universidad de Santo Tomas de Villanueva, founded in 1946 in Havana by the order of the Augustinian Friars. When the Castro government expelled the Augustinians from Cuba in 1961, several of the American Augustinians came to Miami and founded Biscayne College, now STU.
According to the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, STU ranks among South Florida’s top three colleges whose alumni earn the highest salaries 10 years after graduation. Located on a 150-acre campus in Miami Gardens, STU provides individual instruction to more than 3,500 undergraduates through a 12:1 student faculty ratio.
Emphasizing scientific research, social justice and ethics, STU offers 35 undergraduate majors, 27 graduate majors, 5 doctoral programs plus an internationally-recognized law school. STU’s 14 varsity teams participate in the NAIA Sun Conference. Over 90% of STU students receive institutional grants or scholarships.
