Siena Heights University Joins SAGE Tuition RewardsSiena Heights University, a Catholic university in the Dominican tradition, has joined the SAGE Private College & University Enrollment Consortium. 88 Catholic colleges and 12 Michigan colleges now accept Tuition Rewards from SAGE students.
Founded in 1919, Siena Heights went coed in 1969. It offers approximately more than 50 undergraduate majors and pre-professional programs, with biology, creative writing, nursing and theatre earning national recognition in recent years. 1,200 undergraduates attend the main campus, located in Adrian, 45 minutes from Ann Arbor and Toledo; 1,500 students attend six additional degree completion centers throughout Michigan or online. Siena recently launched the Gender and Ethnic Studies Institute, expected to be a leader in exploring race, ethnicity, gender and sexuality.
Siena’s small classes, close-knit community atmosphere, extensive campus resources, committed faculty and diverse student population foster opportunities for high-quality learning. Siena was recently named one of the 25 “Most Affordable Catholic Colleges” in the U.S. More than 90 percent of students receive financial aid.
Drawn from 39 states and 21 foreign countries, Siena students have the opportunity to participate on 21 NAIA varsity teams.
25 new colleges have joined the SAGE consortium in 2016.
