Paul Smith’s College Joins SAGE Tuition RewardsPaul Smith’s College, located within the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park just 25 minutes from Lake Placid, host of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, is the newest New York private college to join the SAGE Tuition Rewards Enrollment Consortium.
A totally unique college with approximately 900 students, PSC strives to make education relevant in a resort-like atmosphere, challenging students to engage in experiential, “hands on” projects in a friendly, supportive and caring environment.
Paul Smith’s believes in learning by doing. PSC culinary arts students complete more than 800 hours of chopping, braising and baking in professional kitchens, including two on-campus training restaurants. Forestry students help manage thousands of acres of college-owned land, then transform fresh timber into finished boards in the campus sawmill. Smitties graduate with genuine experience, not just a degree.
In addition to a wide range of hospitality industry options - hotel, tourism and resort management; entrepreneurial business; and, recreation leadership - PSC offers top programs in biology, ecological restoration, environmental science, natural resource conservation, and forestry, fish and wildlife. This means great summer internships, study abroad opportunities, independent research projects and the right job after graduation.
25 New York private colleges now participate in Tuition Rewards.
