Mount Mercy University Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

Mount Mercy University Joins SAGE Tuition RewardsMount Mercy University, a private, Catholic college where students give more than 16,000 hours to community service every year, has become the 10th Iowa member of the SAGE Tuition Rewards Enrollment Consortium.

Founded in 1928 by the Sisters of Mercy, the university is dedicated to academic excellence, compassionate service and community engagement in a vibrant, diverse, open-minded community. With nearly 1,900 students, Mount Mercy offers degrees in over 45 majors, 17 NAIA varsity athletic teams and 40+ clubs and organizations. Students are engaged by small classes with individualized attention from accomplished professors on a lovely, safe, wooded campus in the heart of historic Cedar Rapids, a thriving city of 140,000.

Mount Mercy students experience a balance of liberal arts excellence with career preparation. Established on five critical concerns — earth, immigration, nonviolence, racism and women — Mount Mercy’s curriculum guides students in exploring and working towards a more just, equal and peaceful world. Hands-on, experiential learning is the core of a Mount Mercy education. Popular majors include nursing, business, biology, psychology and criminal justice.

97 percent of graduates are employed or in graduate and professional programs within 9 months of graduation. 87 Catholic colleges now participate in the SAGE consortium.
