Carthage College Joins SAGE Scholars Consortium

Carthage College Joins SAGE Scholars ConsortiumCarthage College, nationally-ranked for its study-abroad opportunities, has become the 17th Wisconsin member of the SAGE Scholars Enrollment Consortium.

Carthage's beautiful campus in Kenosha is an 80-acre arboretum on the shore of Lake Michigan, is midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. It's home to 150 scholars and 2,600 full time students who have the opportunity to choose from more than 50 majors, minors and concentrations. Professors teach all classes; the average class size is just 17 students. Close to $200 million has been invested in campus facilities in recent years.

Founded in 1847, Carthage emphasizes critical thinking, hands-on learning and the unlocking of a student’s true potential. Students can participate in 120 clubs and organizations plus 24 NCAA Division III athletic teams. About one-third of Carthage students are involved in varsity intercollegiate athletics; another third participate in intramurals and club sports.

Carthage is the 19th Lutheran-affiliated college to participate in the SAGE Consortium.
