Stevenson University Joins Tuition Rewards

Stevenson University Joins Tuition RewardsStevenson University, the third-largest private university in Maryland and a national leader in career education, has joined the SAGE Scholars Private College & University Enrollment Consortium. Five Maryland colleges now participate in Tuition Rewards.

Located in the Baltimore suburbs, Stevenson has grown from nearly 1,700 full-time undergraduates 15 years ago to more than 3,200 today. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 13:1, students still receive the personal attention and mentoring that enables them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

The University is a national leader in NCAA Division III athletics, offering 27 sports, including men's lacrosse; the Mustangs captured the D-III national title in 2013. Stevenson also offers football, women's beach volleyball and men’s and women's ice hockey. 16 of the 17 Middle Atlantic Conference colleges now participate in SAGE.

Stevenson is the only university in the nation to offer Career ArchitectureSM, a process that helps students discover their core values and strengths, align them with their major selection and career goals, and design a strategic plan for their post-college career success.

The University offers 28 career-focused undergraduate degrees, including Nursing, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration, as well as six pre-professional programs for Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Veterinary Medicine. On average, 93 percent of Stevenson graduates are either working and/or attending graduate school within six months of graduation.

University facilities include a 35,000-square-foot gymnasium, a 3,500-seat stadium, residences for 2,000 students and three fitness centers. In 2016, Stevenson will open a new 200,000-square-foot Academic Center with state-of-the-art facilities for its School of the Sciences, School of Design and new School of Health Professions.
