Ave Maria University Joins Tuition Rewards

Ave Maria University Joins Tuition RewardsAve Maria University, located in beautiful southwest Florida, has joined the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards Private College & University Enrollment Consortium. Ave Maria became the first new Catholic University established in the United States in 40 years when it opened in 2003. AMU is the 77th Catholic college to participate in Tuition Rewards.

Ave Maria students are taught by full professors -- published authors and international lecturers - who love teaching. As the average class size is only 20 students, students have the opportunity to talk with professors not only in classrooms and offices but over lunch, coffee or during visits to their homes. Students have independence within a network of support.

The University's acclaimed liberal arts program provides instruction in theology, philosophy, literature, mathematics, natural science, history, politics and foreign languages. Students choose from 30 majors, including accounting, business, education, nursing, pre-law and pre-med.

The cost to attend Ave Maria is among the lowest of any private university in America, with tuition and fees reduced to $17,940 for the 2014-15 academic year; scholarships can reduce that figure significantly. The University is surrounded by a small town with a European feel that provides students with a safe community of living and learning.

With more than 50 student-led clubs, 16 varsity teams, organizations, ministries and outreach efforts, activities abound.

Eight Florida independent colleges now participate in Tuition Rewards.
