There is a very special benefit for Girls and Families who participate in our Recruitment & Retention program! Girl Scouts can earn 2,500, and Co-Troop Leaders, and Service Unit Managers can earn 3,500 Tuition Rewards Points each year, when they renew their Girl Scout membership for the 2019-20 membership year during (Spring Renewal - April 1, to May 31, 2018).

Tuition Rewards Points are similar to frequent flyer points. In this case, the points can be used for Tuition/Scholarship at almost 350 affiliated private colleges and universities across the US. There are 24 affiliated private colleges in New York State. Each point is equivalent to $1 in guaranteed Tuition/Scholarship at the participating colleges and universities.

For Example, Alfred University, St. Bonaventure, Canisius, Hilbert, Daemen, RIT, St. Lawrence, Roberts Wesleyan, and Duquesne. Register you family using the link below to take advantage of this fabulous program.

Awards requirements:
There is no point tracking form needed. SIMPLY COMPLETE THIS TWO-STEP PROCESS:

  • Renew your Girl Scout membership during Spring Renewal April 1, to May 31, 2018 here.
  • Register for the Sage Tuition Rewards Program (if you have not already done so) before or during Spring Renewal April 1st, to May 31, 2018.

Lifetime members who currently hold a Troop Co-Leader or Service Unit Manager position also qualify for this promotion. Lifetime members should renew their positions at www.gswny.org/join and register for the SAGE Program before or during Spring Renewal from April 1 to May 31, 2018.

Tuition Rewards® are NOT awarded in cash. Your Tuition Rewards Points represent "guaranteed minimum scholarships" redeemable for discounts off the "list price" of undergraduate tuition at participating 4-year private colleges & universities. 1 Point = $1.00. Points must be submitted at time of application for the freshman year. Participating colleges reserve the right to include Tuition Rewards as part of any financial aid package. Tuition Rewards are limited to a maximum per student of up to one year's tuition, spread evenly over 4 years, or as contractually agreed.
