Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian community of disciples and scholars who seek to advance the work of God in the world through academic excellence in liberal arts and professional programs of higher education that encourage students to develop a Christian perspective of truth and life.

Azusa Pacific University, an evangelical, Christian university located near Los Angeles in Southern California, offers 80 bachelor's degrees, 51 master's degrees, 25 certificates, 12 credentials, 8 doctoral programs and 2 associate's degrees to more than 10,000 students.

A member of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities and recognized among the nation’s top schools, APU remains committed to God First.

Azusa's 5,800 undergraduates arrive from 47 states, 48 countries and 55 Christian denominations. APU offers quality academic programs on campus, online and at seven regional locations. In 2016, APU was recognized as one of the nation's top schools in awarding degrees to minority students.

APU features about 50 clubs and organizations and 18 music ensembles. Music groups require an audition and perform at local churches as well as state and national orchestral and symphonic events. The Artist Certificate program offers a conservatory-style experience to the School of Music's highest-performing musicians. Fourteen APU athletes have competed in the Olympics.
