Cabrini University Profile
One of the first U.S. universities to make community service a graduation requirement, Cabrini University offers a core curriculum, “Justice Matters,” that reflects our Catholic heritage and connects the theory and practice of social justice to each student’s major.
Our welcoming, safe community is located in suburban Radnor, PA, a short train ride from Philadelphia. We’re close to world-class shopping and dining. We’re only two hours from New York City and two-and-a-half hours from Washington, DC - a great starting point for exploring the East Coast.
Our 112-acre campus was originally the estate of Dr. John T. Dorrance, inventor of the process of making condensed soup and president of the Campbell Soup Company. Dorrance owned a stable with many horses and hosted social events within the main hall of his mansion, Woodcrest - now a residence hall.
Our 1,400 undergraduates are attracted by a faculty that provides individual attention. The student-faculty ratio is 11:1; nearly 80% of classes have fewer than 20 students. The most popular majors are focused on Business, Education, Psychology and Social Science.
Cabrini offers 50+ student clubs, organizations & honor societies as well as 18 varsity sports. By embracing the Cavalier spirit and getting involved in all that Cabrini offers, you can make friends, become a leader, make extraordinary memories and live with purpose. Reflect our growth and success, on July 1, 2016 Cabrini College became Cabrini University.
